Who we are
Multi Talent World ("MTW", "we") runs this website and is responsible for the personal information described on this page. [Legal name of the organisation], organisation number [number], [postal address], Sweden.
Questions about your information? Write to us through our contact page.
What we collect
- Account details. Your name, email address and password if you create an account. The password is stored scrambled, so nobody can read it, not even us.
- Event bookings. The events and tickets you book, the number of places and the name on the ticket.
- Payments. When you support MTW or buy tickets, we record your name, email address, the amount, the date and Stripe's references for the payment. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our website or our team.
- Messages. What you send through the contact form, with your name and email address.
- The newsletter. Your email address, if you sign up for The Talent Brief.
- Technical information. Your IP address, kept for a short time to stop spam and attempts to break into accounts.
Why we use it
- To run your account, your bookings and your monthly support, as part of our agreement with you.
- To take payments, send confirmations and keep the accounting records the law requires.
- To answer your messages, because we have a legitimate interest in replying to you.
- To send the newsletter, only with your consent.
- To keep the site safe from spam and misuse.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a few trusted services to run the site. They use your information only to do this work for us.
- Stripe takes payments and emails your receipts. It handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.
- Our email service sends account emails and booking confirmations.
- Our hosting provider stores the website and its database.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that forms are sent by people, not by automated programs.
- Google Translate receives the text of a page only when you choose a language in the translate menu.
- YouTube shows our videos in its privacy enhanced mode, which stores no cookies until you play a video.
Some of these services are based outside the EU. When information leaves the EU, it is protected by the EU's standard contractual clauses or the EU and US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
- Account details: until you ask us to delete your account.
- Payment and booking records: seven years, as Swedish bookkeeping law requires.
- Messages: as long as we need to answer them, and no longer than two years.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- IP addresses for spam protection: less than a day.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs to work. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics.
- A sign in cookie that keeps you signed in to your account.
- A small cookie that tells the page you are signed in, so the header can show your account.
- A language cookie, set only when you choose a language in the translate menu.
Stripe's payment page is run by Stripe, which uses its own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- show you the information we hold about you and give you a copy of it
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information, unless the law requires us to keep it
- limit or object to how we use it
- give you your information in a form you can take to another service
You can withdraw your consent to the newsletter at any time. To use any of these rights, write to us through our contact page. We answer within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at imy.se.
